Beach Escapes
Shorelines that share nothing — from atoll to Andaman Sea.
A beach stay is rarely interchangeable. An atoll in French Polynesia asks for a different journey than an island off Sumba or a bay beneath the Hajar mountains — in the flying, in the pace, and in what there is to do.
These are addresses where the setting leads and the hotel steps back.

Our perspective
The longer the flight, the longer the stay: for Tetiaroa or Sumba plan seven nights; for the Maldives five to seven.
Season matters more here than the hotel does. A fine beach at the wrong time of year remains a compromise.
