Malediven-Insel mit zwölf Stränden und flachem türkisfarbenem Wasser

From the Suite Collection — Suite No. 10

Grand Water Villa

One&Only Reethi RahNord-Malé-Atoll, Malediven

Built above the reef, with a private pool and steps into the water.

The Grand Water Villas sit at the end of a jetty, far enough out that the island disappears behind you. Below the deck the water runs pale and shallow; rays pass by in the morning.

The plan is generous: separate bedrooms, a living area, a terrace with a pool and a sun deck for the afternoon.

Why we recommend this suite

For families the combination of space, water access and quiet is hard to better — children spend the day between the steps and the pool.

The jetty gives distance from the rest of the island without giving up restaurants or the kids' club.

Who it suits

  • Families with children who can swim.
  • Couples looking for a stay without a programme, with water at the door.
  • Less suited to guests with very young children — jetties and open water access require attention.

What makes it special

  • The pool above the reef

Heatable, in the afternoon sun, facing west.

  • Steps into the lagoon

Direct access to the water, ideal for a snorkel before breakfast.

  • The layout

Separate sleeping areas keep two generations on their own rhythm.

Best time to stay

December to April

The dry north-east monsoon brings calm seas and steady sun. Between May and October the weather is more changeable and rates are lower.

Pure Voyage NoteSuite Note

Which position along the jetty is best?

The outer villas: more privacy, better reef, a longer walk. If you plan to return to the main restaurant several times a day, choose the inner ones. A practical point: the orientation decides whether you see sunrise or sunset from the deck — asking costs nothing and changes the stay noticeably.
