Lebombo Private Villa
Singita Lebombo Lodge — Krüger-Nationalpark, Südafrika
Glass, steel and bushveld — a house for one family, with its own guide.
The villa stands at the edge of the camp, above the N'wanetsi riverbed. Four bedrooms, an open living area, a pool at the edge and a deck from which the afternoon can be watched without a vehicle.
It comes with a private ranger, a private vehicle and a chef — game drives follow the family's hours rather than the camp's.
Why we recommend this suite
Safari with children works when no one has to wait for anyone. A private vehicle allows short drives, and long ones when everybody wants them.
The architecture stays open to the bush. Animals come up to the slope; on some afternoons the deck replaces the drive.
Who it suits
- Families and groups of up to eight travelling at different speeds.
- Travellers on a first safari with children.
- Less suited to solo travellers or couples, for whom the size brings no advantage.

When you travel as four or more and want your own vehicle rhythm. The real difference is not the space but the freedom: your own departure times, dinner when you return, and no compromise with other guests in the vehicle. For families with children this is often the deciding factor.
