Begin in South Africa
Kruger is the most accessible way in: good connections, low-malaria areas within reach, experienced guides. Four nights in one camp, not two.

Botswana for water and distance, Rwanda for the mountains. The contrast between two landscapes shapes the journey more than a third camp of the same kind.
