Desert, distance, almost no distraction. Amangiri divides opinion more than any other house in the group and stays with you longest. Three or four nights are enough.

Tokyo and New York show how that quiet feels above a metropolis. Both work as the beginning or end of a longer journey rather than as the sole destination.
