From the Suite Collection — Suite No. 02
Palazzo Vendramin
Belmond Hotel Cipriani — Giudecca, Venedig
A house of its own beside the hotel, looking across the basin to San Marco.
Palazzo Vendramin stands a few steps from the main Cipriani building, joined by the garden. Its suites have private terraces and look across the water to the line from San Giorgio to the Doge's Palace.
The difference from the main house is the quiet. Breakfast is shared with few, and the view begins before the first coffee.
Why we recommend this suite
Seeing Venice from the outside changes the city. The Giudecca gives distance; the boat removes it again in minutes.
The terraces sit so that the evening lasts longer here than in town — an advantage you appreciate on the second day.
Who it suits
- Couples who want a calm base and prefer Venice in stages.
- Travellers who have stayed in the main building before and are now looking for more seclusion.
- Less suited to guests who want to stay out spontaneously in town without a boat.
What makes it special
The view across the basin
From breakfast to evening light the skyline sits opposite — with no crowd in front of it.
A separate entrance
The palazzo works as a small guest house with its own salon and breakfast room.
The boat
The hotel launch runs to San Marco around the clock; the crossing takes minutes.
What makes this space particular?
Its separation from the main house. You stay a few steps apart, with your own entrance and a view back across to Venice — in the evening it becomes a private house with hotel service. Best from three nights, and for travellers who prefer breakfast in the room to breakfast in the dining room.
